10 deepest sea in the world


There are in while some are shallow. The following is a list of top 10 deepest oceans and seas on the basis of their average depth along with some interesting facts about the deepest oceans and seas. 



1. Pacific Ocean: 
Pacific Ocean led the list of the deepest ocean on earth with an average depth of 3939 meters. The Pacific Ocean include:

a.Pacific Ocean Marine World is the largest division with an area of 169.2 million square kilometers.
b.Mariana Trench is the deepest point in the Pacific Ocean with a depth of 10,911 meters.
c. Mountain Chains are drown from the bottom of the sea, known as an underwater mountain chain. Pacific Ocean has many underwater mountain chain formed by volcanic hotspots, the famous "Ring of Fire" in the 






2. Indian Ocean:
Indian Ocean is the second deepest ocean when the average depth is taken as the base. The average depth is 3840 meters in the Indian Ocean. Interesting facts about the Indian Ocean:

a.Volume Indian Ocean was 292,131,000 cubic miles.
b. The warmest sea in the world is the Indian Ocean.
c.Samudra Indies is a young sea between the major oceans of the world. 





3. Atlantic Ocean:
Atlantic Ocean takes third place among the deepest ocean with an average depth of 3575 meters.Some interesting facts about the Atlantic Ocean are:

a.Atlantic Ocean is the second largest marine division with an area of 106.4 million square kilometers.
b.Deepest largest of the Atlantic Ocean is in the "Puerto Rico Trench" with a depth of 8605 meters.
c. Atlantic Ocean is the youngest sea on the Indian Ocean between the major oceans of the world.

4. Caribbean Sea:
Caribbean Sea take place next with an average depth of 2575 meters. Caribbean Sea is a sea Atlantic Ocean. Some interesting facts about the Caribbean are:

a. Caribbean Sea is one of the largest sea with salinity that is an area of 2.754 million square kilometers.
b.Cayman Way is the deepest point of the sea with a depth of 7686 meters.
c.Two oceanic trenches Caribbean Sea known as "Hispaniola Trench" and "The Puerto Rico Trench." 






5. Sea of Japan:
Sea took fifth place in the list of the deepest oceans and the sea with an average depth of 1666 meters.

a. Sea of Japan has no tides and these characteristics are very similar to the Mediterranean Sea. Japan 
b.The Sea connected with other sea by five shallow straits. They are the Strait of Tartary, La Perouse Strait, Tsugaru Strait, the Strait of Kanmon, and the Korea Strait.
c. Sea of Japan has 3 main bases, namely Yamato Basin, Japan Basin and Tsushima Basin.
Additional information about Sea of Japan: There is no dispute over the naming. Japan claims that the name "Sea of Japan" is generally adapted in the 19th century while Korea claims that the name change only in the 20th century, North Korea wants to "Sea of Japan" to be named as the "East Sea of Korea" while South Korea proposed " East Sea. "

Mediterranean Sea is the deepest ocean next on the list of top 10 deepest oceans and the sea with an average depth of 1501 meters.

8. Bering Sea: 
The next place to go to the Bering Sea has an average depth of 1491 meters.

a. Bering Sea got its name after the Danish explorer Vitus Bering who explored this sea in 1728.
b.Are there were 16 submarine canyon in the Bering Sea and "Zhemchug Canyon" is the largest submarine.
c.More of wildlife species of interest from the Bering Sea, including walruses, Steller sea lions, orca, and polar bears. An extinct animal species in the Bering Sea that is Bowhead whales, Blue Whale, Sperm Whale, Humpback Whale, North Pacific Right Whale and Sei Whale.





9. South China Sea:
South China Sea took place next with an average depth of 1463 meters.

a. South China Sea is part of the Pacific Ocean covering 3.5 million square kilometers.
b. South China Sea, nearly 200 islands and reefs have been identified. This is called the Spratly Islands. Spratly Islands are those which cover an area between 810 and 900 km. The largest Spratly island of Taiping Island is believed that covers a distance of 1.3 km.
c.Table mount Reed or Reed Bank, an undersea mountain in the South China Sea is submerged atoll structure in the world.



10. Black Sea:
Black Sea claimed tenth position among the top 10 over the deepest ocean and sea with an average depth of 1190 meters.

a. The Black Sea covers an area of 436,400 square kilometers (Sea of Azov are excluded.)
b. The Black Sea is the world's largest meromictic basin. Meromictic basin is one where the water is deep and upper layers of water are not mixed
c. It is believed that the Black Sea was a freshwater lake landlocked during the ice age some archaeologists were able to find a freshwater snail shells and various man-made structures at about 100 m of water.
